interested buyer pointed out lip at the top narrows. May have been trimmed or might even be a 68 but I didn't notice any evidence of a marker hole up front. Otherwise, still a very nice, solid unit. I will take a closer look
tomorrow and report back with some better pictures....

replacement fenders beginning in '68 model year did not have holes for reflectors, but did have the tapered lip and the 4 tabs in the headlight bucket.

true 65-67 fenders had a full lip, no reflector holes, and did not have tabs in the headlight bucket. the very early ones also accommodated the 4-screw horn grill. (corrected July 7)

this is still a very nice fender, however.

Is this also correct for 1969?

    Small correction?

True 65 - 66 fenders didn't have 4 tabs in the headlight buckets.

Ok ,thx for all the info. I couldn't find any markings on it to prove 67 or 68. I will say the 4 tabs don't look like they ever had anything mounted/screwed.

Late 67 or early 68, it is in remarkably good condition. Price is firm for now and fender is still available as of this posting. At this point, local pick up is priority. Thanks all!

I did a bad job of grammar in my previous post. The comment re tabs in the headlight bucket was supposed to say NO tabs in the headlight bucket.

Plus, Soterik is probably right re the transition period to the replacement fender. Eric is an authority I respect.

Response to rasp ritz -- the turn signal bucket for LWB was very different from SWB fenders.
