    Hood Lamp Gaskets?

    Hey guys,

I'm just wondering if there is a gasket that fits between the headlight bowl and hood when fitting hood lamps? I haven't seen them in the NOS sets sold, but it seems that there should be one?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Cheers,

The repro Cibie units come with a nice die cut neoprene gasket approximately 2-3 mm thick. It just matches the round depression on the bottom of the pot.

Thank you. Did they have a gasket originally?

I ordered some nice very thin rubber sheeting from McMaster Car for about $8.00. Cut them to go under the housings, and when tightened to the hood nothing is visible. Looks like there is nothing there, but it is.
