    WTB: Sport Clutch Disc, P/N 901.116.017.01 for 69 911S

    I have a 1969 911 S aluminum pressure plate part number 901 116 009 00. I need the thinner clutch disc to use it.

    anyone?

You can rebuild the old disk if you have to worn out one. Not sure if you trust that for an S, but thought I would throw that out there if you can't find what you want.

Is there a difference between the 67/68 and 69 clutches? I bought a NOS 69S clutch set hoping it might fit my 67S but have not got there yet. Seems someone should easily make a part that will fit these clutch discs - I know of too many 67-69 S cars with heavy steel pressure plates in them which can not help the revs. Rebuilding a clutch disc is always an option. I did that on Lamborghini disc with good results a number of years ago.

Absolutely if we are talking about the 911S varieties.

69S disc is about 2mm thinner than all others. Try Kennedy Engineered Products for rebuilding.
