    Funny how the pompous scribes on BaT had prognosticated on the future value of this car and how it wasn't worth more than $20k for "the parts in the shape of a car". Guess they didn't figure on the world of 911s going mad.

    Car is an acquired taste, but should be tasty to someone who loved grape lollipops as a kid.

    I do like the color. What I like more is the legacy here that presents the old BAT appearance of the car. Makes things much more interesting. I'd like to know even more of course...

    big numbers, big venue... big interest? Each year the lead up to these auctions is more interesting to me... but I won't be bidding

    Although I won't be there, I wonder if the auction house (or seller) will share the restoration documentation since there was definite rust issues to deal with.
