73 911 - rear shock mount question please

I would appreciate clarification on the lower rear shock mount bolt/washer/nut arrangement...the PET illustration seems to indicate no washer on the bolt head side (facing towards the engine), but one on the outer nut side (facing towards the hub), yet the shop manual shows a washer on the bolt head. I can't seem an illustration in the shop manual showing the outer nut side. I've attached a photo...just need confirmation if I need to add and or subtract a washer! Thanks!

That's the way I install them, the large washer under the bolt head would serve to keep the shock from coming off should the bushing ever get that worn out (which I've seen) To put the washer under the nut would serve no purpose.

Your picture is how mine are mounted, if the bushing fails your bolt won't pull through.

Ed's more complete reply had not shown up yet. Sorry for the redundant reply.

Thank you both for the prompt and helpful replies. P.S. to Ed: Stoddard is scheduled to call DANSK this week re my ill-fitting new fuel tank that we discussed on Friday...will let you know what their answer/solution is.
