No horse in this race, but isn't it alu vs steel and thus for different cars, your need depending on your s/n? Steel at $1850 no puck, alu at $4750 with butterfly, all seems to be in line, no?

Btw quick question, how can one tell at a glance the difference between steel and alu?

Aluminum has a visible metal strip on the inner perimeter of the wood rim.

    Perimeter

    pe·rim·e·ter noun \pə-ˈri-mə-tər\

: the outside edge of an area or surface

Outer perimeter, redundant. Inner perimeter, what?
