I had never seen these wheels before...until I bought a set!

I just picked up some vintage American Racing, cast aluminum wheels. Porsche fitment, 7" wide, 5x130 stud spacing. I haven't determined the offset yet, but they eyeball out to standard 7" Fuchs backspacing. Anyone ever seen these before? If Torq Thrusts are rare...

Don't take what I'm about to say as a negative, because it's absolutely a compliment.

They look like budget versions of Campagnolos.

I DIG 'EM! Same great look at probably 1/3 the price.

A few hours of targeted online searches usually finds your target. We have a verdict!

American Racing "Vector", aka Dukes of Hazzard General Lee wheels.

Who would imagine there was a Porsche fitment!!!

I have no knowledge of these, but I do like them. Are all 4 7's? How's the weight?
I hope you got lug nuts with them or sleeves, because that does not look like any standard lug nut seat.
There are so few good looking aftermarket wheels for our cars that it is nice to see another option.

Nope. Definitely gonna need sleeves. I'll have to have them made as my lathe isn't operational right now. Damnedest luck.

They were copies of the Corvette show car, might have been called the Vector.
These were neither light( being a cast wheel) nor particularly strong, but they sold well.
I had them on my F250 Ford pickup. They were no joy to clean either.
Before you do any work to them do yourself a favor & check further on them ,
IMHO, they don't belong on a Porsche. They are a muscle car wheel.

You are clearly not a fan of the craze around the uber rare Torq Thrust Ds on 911s, then.

I'm a fan! I think these would look great in a flat grey. Always nice to see more choices.
