    Need Help Identifying Model year on 911

    Hello Everyone.

    I just purchased a wonderful early 911 project and need any info that I can on it. I believe it to be a 1966 however this pre-1967 stuff always confuses me. The vin is: 303476 . Any info would be great.

    I believe my friends VIN 304955 is the last '66, if that is correct then yours is most likely a '66.

    303476 would have been completed in Jan 1966 and probably delivered in Feb. The Kardex would confirm a lot of things.

    A member here by the name of "kouwenhoven" has been able to get them. Not cheap, but I got mine, and am happy I did.

    304598 was built in May 1966...
    1966 911 Coupe - Slate Grey - 304598 - still in restoration!
