    FS: 380mm leather steering wheel with horn button for early Porsche 911

    Hello.
    I have a 380mm leather steering wheel for early Porsche 911/912/914 for sale. This wheel vary nice patina on the leather with brown and black sheen. The leather is supple and there are some fraying of stiches on top of the spokes. But it is perfect the way it is and would not need to be re-stitched. The prints on the spoke center are "914-347-805-10," "VDM," and "6/71." This wheel ain't a real RS 914/72 date steering wheel. It has the same part# but wrong date. I'd use as is because of the patina of the leather, but serves as a good base for a replica 380mm RS steering wheel by lining the wheel with felt to get a thicker grip and then cover with leather. This wheel comes with batwings horn button as shown minus the rubber cup.

    Please do your research and ask questions to make sure this wheel is applicable to your car before you buy. I'll repeat, this wheel ain't a real RS steering wheel as other sellers would have you believe, because the date on this wheel is 6/71 and that has made all the difference in $$$ from the real RS wheel. I'll be happy to take additional pictures. All sales are final.
