    WTB: Random Deep 6's

Like the title says, I'm looking to cobble together a set of deep 6's for a fair price. I don't care about dates or hearts/non hearts. So if you have a single wheel or 2 or 3 etc. let me know. I just need them to be straight and serviceable. Thanks so much Steve

well, I'm down to needing just ONE more deep 6 in fair to good condition. 70 or 71 date codes would be cool but not necessary. Let me know...Thanks Steve

Please let me know what your idea of "reasonable" is so I can relay your request to a friend of mine. He has one date stamped in 1970 but wants to get a "reasonable" price. Somehow, I"m thinking a seller's "reasonable" is much different than a buyer's "reasonable" .

    Regards

looking for a wheel in the $600-750 range, which is not exactly cheap. Each wheel, unless useable as is, requires about $350 in finishing. A fully restored set is about $5k for a set of 5. So to buy a single wheel in need of refinishing for $1000+ doesn't make much fiscal sense. Please relay the my budget to your friend, that would be greatly appreciated...Thanks Steve
