    73 S - instrument repair/restoration source?

As I near the day when I'll awaken the 'S' after several decades of slumber, I'll be checking what instruments do or don't work....I'd appreciate hearing recommendations for the 'go to' folks for repair and or restoration of the instruments. Thanks!

I've had probably 30 or 40 gauges repaired by Seattle Speedometer over the last couple years. I've been very satisfied with their work, service and prices.

Here's a slideshow (be patient) of a set of 912 gauges they did for me last year:

Here's an article I wrote about gauges last year. I hear good things about Seattle Speedometer.

I used Seattle for mine, only problem I had is they did not refinish the black bezels. I made the mistake and assumed they would during full refurbishing (Which is what I requested). When I received the gauges
back I was disappointed and contacted them, I was told that was not part of the regular service and I could return them for that do be done for additional charge.
Considering what I was paying and they sent a list of what was recommended and there was never a mention of bezels being a added service. I did not feel it was worth the risk shipping across country again and felt it should have been done as part of the refurbishing price. Price was a bit lower than others, but when you add all that back in I would have gone with NH who I have also used several times in the past.
    Just my 2 cents.

NHS (North Holywood Speedometer) without hesitation. There are plenty here in Europe, but I still send my instruments to those guys : very good price for high quality, and because they are supporting this registry too.
