    Is it just me?"

This "SWB/LWB" thing is driving me nuts.
Folks, when you list a part or post a question, give the damn year and model of your car or the part you are selling. Stating whether it is a SWB or a LWB is only a small part of the story
IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE YEAR OR MODEL OR PART YOU ARE SELLING, THEN SAY SO!
How is it that sellers, often don't have a clue what they have, or know just enough to state that it came from a "SWB" car but know that it is worth a gazillion dollars?
HELLO>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>NOT ALL SWB PARTS, AND CARS ARE THE SAME AND NOT ALL LWB PARTS, AND CARS ARE EVEN REMOTELY THE SAME, EITHER.
    Again, is it just me?
    Regards

    Jim

Anytime I don't know what a part is I call this crazy codger on the left coast, he's a little long winded, and goes off on tangents, but does know a lot more than me. I wouldn't call it an EASY call, but it gets the job done...

Jim knows his shi! and EVERY TIME I call to try to find a part he's got it! All at fair prices! And he even ships cross country! He is an asset to the early Porsche community so please take some advice from him.

I loose interest when there is no location stated upfront...Don`t matter where it is located;the mind set automatically adjust once that information (location) is revealed. It`s tough to agonize wheather to get involved in a transaction without that info, : do I submit to purchase?, ask about shipping, forgetabout,pm for `that` info,etc,`.....like stating a price, very important information in the equation..
To err is human; to blame it on someone else is more human...

Bad description, no sale. Unless it's sooo bad I get curious that seller has no idea about what he/she has. Nice finds to be found that way.

Yes, and please, pleeeeze, sellers, figure out the difference between "chrome" and "bright anodized" and polished trim. Not everything that glitters is chrome.
