    Replacement for stock Drivers footboard

    The original Drv side footboard on my 71T has delaminated and rotted. Wondering what folks are using as a suitable replacement.? Looking for something that all the orig stuff will attach to and carpet will go over it. Resto Design makes a nice Pass side replacement, but they don't do a Drv side. Any help appreciated

    Restoration Design does have the driver side: http://www.restoration-design.com/mm...911-551-063-92

    They are made with Birch (like the originals) and cut by water jet, so the quality and fit is excellent.

    I have an original one available however I am in the UK.

    SORRY, just noticed "71T", mine is from a swb car which I think are different.

    Frankly, the earlier reproductions sucked. Wrong thickness, wrong shape, wrong size. These new ones are a night/day difference and dropped into my 73 coupe with zero fit issues. We even got the stain right.
