Thread: 69 back seat?

    69 back seat?

I'm a little fuzzy on back seat differences between 67, 68 & 69. I thought these back seats were on 66, 67; not sure if 68 and by 69 they were the normal cushion seat like 70-71-72-73-etc.
Could a 69 be equipped with these from the factory?

    Thanks for any input.

    These seats appeared on all 65 and 66 911's, 67 911S and 68 911S and US 911L.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

MY 68 did not have the surround on the rear seat cushions.

Is the surround a separate piece that can be removed easily?
