    What can I say........ I still really like '67 Type 1's ............

    - 2 of them yesterday at the Peterson.........

    - Mine 25 years ago.... the year I bought the Porsche.....

    Very nice bug, Chuck. I love the louvers and the stance, and I prefer chrome bumpers over nerf bars (nobody did it that way in the '70's; just asking to prang a fender). What did ya have under the back lid?

    1776, duel 40's, Engle 120, and LOTS of 'D' port head work....... 107 very reliable HP on the engine dyno............

    Some of my old car friends are still pissed I sold it........ Got 'all the money' for it 24 years ago at $5K

    Around 16 years into it I stopped adding recipes it about $20K....

    .... and so it goes
