    Polishing 951 spare rims

I have accumulated a set of 951 spacesaver aluminum rims and was interested in polishing these to use on a SWB car or 356. Anybody have any experience in how to accomplish this and how much trouble it is? There appears to be a finish on them and 2 are gray and 2 are red.How do you remove the coating/finish and can it be subsequently polished by hand[in my lifetime]?
    Thanks, John

They are annodized and the finish can be easily removed with a glass bead machine. Personally, I prefer them painted but they can be polished professionally or done by hand with a bit of effort.
