A special thanks to Paul Abbott

I wanted to take the opportunity to thank Paul Abbott for his wonderful work, guidance and passion for all things 911. I have a '71E with two motors: the original being rebuilt and a 2.2L S spec engine whose carburetors needed rebuilding. Paul and I had been in touch over the last year or so and I told him I would be moving back to Denver from Austin in June. I told him I wanted to drive the car back to Colorado and take the back roads and just get away. I sent him the carburetors, he rebuilt them and put them on his "tuning" engine. When I got them in June, I installed them, turned the key, waited for the float-bowls to fill up and she roared to life. I left for Denver on June 26th and took my time. I drove her as my daily driver until my Jetta Wagon arrived from Austin and put over 2K on her in 10 days. Lots of fun.

Just wanted to say thanks to Paul. He's one of the special guys in Porsche community.
