    Nice! I assume it runs based on the photos
    So the ducktail was not a standard rear lid on the RS?

    That rear CarreraRS badge is COOL!!! The folks with the ducktail got jipped with the sticker.

    So the ducktail was not a standard rear lid on the RS?
    In '73 certain countrie's equivalent of our D.O.T. wouldn't allow the tail....
    And even those that did, the RS could be ordered without the tail.....

    The photo showing the VIN stamp near the smuggler's box looks odd to me. Is it the lighting?

    Yes, it is the lighting that gives that strange appearance. The VIN is rock solid original as is the paint in the trunk.

    It looks great.

    It looks as a french delivered RS (rear bumper, and speedo limited to 250km/h). However a french delivered would be stamped 0125 F. Which is not the case. Does anyone have a bit of background about this car ?
