    Hi all
    Sitting in a hotel at long island today and being in manhattan tomorrow
    I'm wondering if there is anything worthwhile visiting here
    No tourist stuff but aircooled porsche stuff
    Any ideas?

    Not much. Coopers has been known to have some nice early Porsches from time to time.

    You could go over to Queens to Gullwing Motors, always sort of wild in a general car sense of things.

    Lime Rock Park Historics and Car Show beginning 8/28 if you're willing to rent a car.
    And don't go climbing the Brooklyn Bridge for an art happening or selfie like you Euros do.
