No, that kit is from the 1980s. 1960s was a blue kit, early 70s a green kit, mid 70s an orange kit. I have some posted on my site under parts http://www.Porsport.com They were a European thing but were also given as tourist delivery gifts, at least that is the story behind my blue kit.

Don, do you have photos of your other First Aid kits? I've seen that gray HEPP one with a 1978 911 SC. I don't know what came in the early and mid-1970s, or when that grey kit was introduced.

When I picked up a tourist delivery car I was told first aid kit was required for travel on German roads. Thus one was provided as part of the tourist delivery program when picking up your car.

My '83 944 came with the gray kit.

    Yes, mandatory in Germany.
But had to be added by owner. You could have any brand or type, sold also at gas stations, supermarkets etc.
Or you would order one at Porsche.
Its possible it was given to P owners within the PTD program. The one for Mercedes-Benz were similar.

Not mandatory in other RoW countrys but a few owners had them anyway.

The middle kit (and the emergency triangle) were what came in my '73E brought back to the States by an Army doctor stationed in Germany at the time the car was delivered.
