    Factory dash refinish ?

I have this factory dash that is in exceptional condition. It is as noted somewhere on the Early 911 S Registry as a replacement dash due to the removeable speaker design. By the way, is the speaker replaceable with the more traditional square speaker hole layout of 70-73? Also, my greatest concern is the slight blemish that looks like it got too close to a light bulb etc. Can these dash boards have the surface scrubbed down and a new finish applied without destroying the originl grain? Thanks, cliff
