Genuine "PORSCHE" and "911" script in 1968 solid or hollow?

    Hi,

I was just wondering, that there are different types of "PORSCHE" and "911" emblems/scripts.
Beside silver/gold and black, there are solid and hollow (from the backside) versions.

Are the solid or hollow versions original, and how do I differentiate a NOS from a repro?

I am particularly interested in the 1968 PORSCHE and 911 script....

...could someone provide pics of a genuine 1968 PORSCHE-script and 911-emblem with front and backside view ?

    Best regards from Germany

    Philipp

These were on my car when I got it so at the least they are 15 years old. They are solid and each has a stamp which the best I can make out is "TTL". The edges are slightly rough cut....I have seen a repo and they would be smoother around the edges. That said just MHO.

Thanks a lot for your helpful reply! Now I know, I have the wrong ones. Mine are hollow on the backside, but also stamped with TTL. Thus I guess they are from a later model.
    Regards
