What coco mats were available for 1971 911?

    Dear all,

Does anyone know what kind of coco mats were an option for 1971 cars? I am looking at getting some mats from cocomats.com, but are not sure what would be period correct for my car.

So what color/type of mat would I have to look at? I have a beige/tan interior in a burgundy car.

    Thanks for your help.

I have coco mats. They're a quality product. They don't fit perfectly but it's not a big deal. They're heavier than what I remember using back in the day. That's a good thing. The originals seldom had a backing. That meant you have to vacumn coco fiber out of the car every week. The new ones have a backing.

I have an NOS set in the Porsche bag. I'll dig them out when I have time and post pics.

...and sorry, the answer is a kind "no".

How dare you tease the masses like that! And here I thought everything had a price.
Then I guess one should not ask for a picture out of the bag either ( I had to say that).

Thanks everyone! I have made my decision and ordered the black with natural mats. Just the right amount of contrast compared to the tan interior. And just out of curiousity, how much would a set of NOS mats be? Always amazed that those things are still around.

Its from the 1971 Accessories catalogue.

And this is from 1970 Accessories.

And this is from a dealer-only accessory binder (I own), 1971. Part number confirms Frank's NOS items.

These are period ones. Been posted before. "Back in the day" people could order from many suppliers and also order at dealers.
