carb linkage and fuel set-up Zenith

Help,
I purchased my 71 911 T with Zenith carbs in pieces...and unable to identify some of the parts and the installation process. does anyone have pictures of the set-up. Part diagram do not show everything. I will try and attach some pictures

by the way...it seems that the replating adds some thickness and makes it difficult to screw in the ball connectors. does anyone know the thread...I think it is 5M .80

Top right attaches to driver's side cover plate on the differential.

Next to it is the vent that has a line from the forward, bottom of the air cleaner and it mounts ahead of cylinder #6 on the exterior of the shroud.

Next two look like straps to secure rear sway bar to chassis.

Bottom row, second from right is engine lifting lug that is installed near the breather on the engine and is held by one of the case assembly bolts.

Long rod with retaining ring grooves presses into the intake manifold ahead of runner for cylinder #3, you will probably need to remove zinc plating to press it into its place.

Triangular piece with two ball studs and hollow tube slips over the 8mm rod installed in manifold at cylinder #3, you need to get bearings for it.


Second from right in bottom row is engine lifting lug that is attached to case near breather and case assembly stud is the attaching point

M5 x .8 is thread for connecting links and ball sockets.

I assume that there are little jesus retainers or clips for the grooves on the long rod...

Hate to say this Peter, but that looks like Weber linkage, not Zenith. The arms to the carb drop links have a different bend on the Zeniths.

Ed is right. You can use Zenith cross bar on Webers but not the other way around.
