    Fuel Evap Canister/tank for 69

    Hello,
I'm trying to figure out my fuel evap system for my 69 E. In the diagram below, I have all the parts except number 47. Where does this tank mount, how does it mount, and does anyone have a photo of this tank mounted? I'm also wondering if it is still available, and what the part number might be. I was only able to find a still shot of this diagram, and cannot find a pet 5 version with 69 in it to reference the part number. Thanks for any help you can give...Steve

Ok, after a bit more reading and research, my memory has been jogged. What I'm missing is the little black box that sits under the driver side dash area, with the "oh so easy to remove and replace rubber band" that mounts it. I guess all I need now is a part number and whether it's still available...Thanks

Item 47 is available new from Porsche as I recently purchased one...you can find the part number in PET or simply call your Porsche parts guy. The 'rubber' band is NLA from Porsche...not sure if anyone makes a repro, but a thin diameter black bungee cord works fine.

I used the small diameter black bungee used on your fold down door pocket.

I used an appropriately sized O ring.
