    Orson Welles......mediums

Incredibly talented that he was - Orson Welles had a skeptical, unfavorable opinion of psychics and mediums.. Not that there aren't charlatans in every field...but he thought the public was easily fooled by them - and therefore could be categorized as 'magicians'..

Van Praagh is one of the more well known today...a few years ago - presented on 'The View' (4 : 35) :

One incidental left out of the thread that seems interesting - is Barbara making disparaging comments about Van Praagh after his visit, adamantly skeptical of anyone making such claims. Laughing out loud, she guffaws on a comment he made backstage to her ; "There's something wrong with your blood...it's not moving well."

She jokes on the air, adding that she followed up with her physician, who checked her blood, giving a clean bill of health.."everything normal".

Although it may be coincidental.... a year later Barb was admitted to a Cardiac wing for 'Aorta' transplant.

That suggests a gift of some kind imo..

Right, what was Barbara, about 80 years old? And someone says her blood is not moving well and you feel that's some paranormal insight? Around here they'd sell you a bridge.

I agree she was along in years...yet seniors can have several thousand health issues.. Being skeptical is a good thing, Van Praagh has said. Problem in discrediting him seems to be that the high percentage of 'hits' on the reading...makes even the best trick guessing mathematically very difficult.

There have been those who assess his better readings...as him going into audiences beforehand, to get their personal stuff.
Running around talking to folks, and repeat the family history by rote later ?
