    Seat Recliner Info 1973

    Hello,

I was quite sure that the standard Recaro Seats in 1973 were equipped with a hinge that had a lock (driver seat) Before that time (until end of 1972) only the right seats were equipped with such a recliner.

A friend of mine has a 911 T 06/73 in 100% original conditions. He is the first owner and the car is really untouched.

The driver seat of this original car has a hinge without lock. I saw it today and it really confused me!

Does anybody know when and where Porsche used the driver seats with lock? Was it an option?

    Cheers........Oliver

The standard seats locked on both sides in 73. At least, US cars did. Porsche provided locks on both seats in 1968 and later for both seats.

    Regards
