    Price check aisle seven...

I have the opportunity to buy a still-born 2.7 RS spec MFI engine project. Mahle 8.5 cr and the longblock is fresh. Induction has been bumped to 2.4 S and is complete. What is the going price for a "built" 2.7 RS spec engine? Are there any 2.7 RS spec engines for sale for comparison? If so, please PM me with details. This may end up in my 914-6. I don't need this currently...otherwise I would post it in the WTB. I am currently curious.
    TIA

Agreed...$20k. IIRC setting up the injection is an art form...

Agree with above. A good RS spec longblock with ancillaries would be $10-12k. Add correct MFI set up and tuned properly, you'd be getting close to that $20k mark.

Thanks guys. I'll go inspect the part number shortly to see what might be S or machined to S specs.
