Parking brake boot, 1968 to 1973, new from Auto Foreign

Finally, the correct brake boot for the 68-73 cars...

All original type molding "seams", molded slits for brake and throttle controls, and this one fit nicely under your original carpet or rubber tunnel mat as well.

    $25.00

$9 to ship in the USA, and $26 to ship overseas (sorry, that's the absolute cheapest method).

    Regards, and thanks!

Very nice Eric. Are the seams pre-cut for the throttle lever and heat lever or does the user need to cut them during install?

You must cut the slits into the seams yourself. Most MY 68 cars only had one lever (heat), so only one slit needs to be cut.

Both slots are pre cut, as I found that doing it yourself, even very carefully is very difficult to do (at least for me on the non cut samples I was working with).
So... rather than frustration, they are both cut... The slits are very tight and don't just flap open.

For the 68 one lever guys note that the slits sit very tight together, but you're just going to have to "deal with" looking down at the brake boot and know that you have a pre-cut slit that is not being used

Another option for the 68 one lever guys is my 66-67 boot with no slits cut (or molded) and you can cut one for yourself...and leave the other side closed.

I guess I assumed that that you had to perform the cut yourself because with the others I saw, that was the case. Sorry for the bad info. I bought a 67 version for my 68 from Eric and cut my own slit.

I want a time machine to go to the future when Eric makes all the stuff the current 'repro kings' do to their "minimally acceptable" goal.
