    Suggestions for 2.4 T MFI rebuild/upgrade

I have a 2.4 T motor that will go into a 67 911. It was out of a running car and it will need to be gone through, but hopefully not totally rebuilt. I want to keep the MFI. What things I can do to improve the performance of this motor without spending a ton of money? The car will be a touring car, with many more long trips planned than track hours, so overall driving enjoyment is more important than top end performance. Of course, if you can figure out a way to get me into a short stroke 2.5, I'd be willing to compromise on the driveability a bit ;-).
    Thanks in advance,
    Alan

What is a ton of money? What is your budget?

2.2 pistons will raise compression figure out which ,T,E or S to keep you below 10-1. If you want to keep MFI ,unless you want to spend big money you are prob stuck with t cams as they match the space cam in the pump .I noticed that a sport muffler gave a seat of pants difference for my 2.4TE.

My budget is $4-5K for parts and work that we can't do ourselves. I'll take a look at piston options, thanks for the suggestions.
