    ID for 911 503 607 03 fender flares?

    A friend has two fender flares. It seems to me they fit a 1973 911RS, but he thinks they are for a 911SC.

    based on the part number of the flare in the pic, PET says for the 1970 - 1973 model years.

    I am unfamiliar with PET, although I saw "PET" on the top of the pages in the PDF I found at Porsche.com in their Genuine Parts Catalogue (1970-1973). When I searched it, I found no hit for the part number or "fender".

    Google search found two listings that showed what model(s) the part applied to:
    • Restoration-Design listed the part number for "2.8 RSR fender flares''
    • AASE Sales listed it for "Carrera RS Fender Flare - 1969-73"


    I am pretty sure they fit 1970-1973 911's, but these are flared fenders, and I think the RS was the only 911 of that era with flared fenders.

    But please understand I know very little - that's why I am asking questions.

    Part number is for a 73 drivers side RS flare. Now again available new from Porsche and in stock for about $850.00ea. A better picture of the top of the wheel well arch would help but from the picture it sure looks like an RS flare. And there it is in a nut shell. Looking to sell or trade on? I might be interested.
