    FS: Barn find weber 46s

Offered as a complete setup $6000 or best offer plus shipping.

I picked up some parts recently and included in the parts were two sets of boxes that were supposedly PMOs. Markings on the outside of the boxes indicated webers. They were shipped from Richard (PMO) years ago...but the boxes had not been opened. They were supposed to be a complete set, manifolds to aircleaners. This is what I first encountered....

    Weber 46s for sale...brand new

As I peeled back the layers of the contents of the boxes, I found everything packaged brand new as it was shipped from PMO back in 1994, twenty years ago. fuel line, hardware, cross member, aircleaners, fuel pressure regulator...everything for the complete setup.

    46s for sale

It looks like it was ordered and shipped yesterday. Underneath some of the bags I saw something from the newspaper used as stuffing...

    On to the carbs

So here is the good stuff. Brand new, set up by Richard as per his checklist, and never run...20 years later. The carbs are beautiful. I will note that while they did come through Richard, they are not Italian. Note the tall venturies and fresh hardware. Sold as a complete setup $6500 or best offer plus shipping.

Never would have guessed Frank Zappa died better than 20 years ago.
