So that appears to be it, just looks like a SWT, not an original SWT just missing rear glass......

sandbeige is right, had the optional hard window originally. And it sounds like it is a sportomatic on top of that. Frank B will be all over this one, now that it is a real first year sporto. Looks like it was converted to a short hood and then partly reconverted to a long hood (just the hood, not the fenders!)

Love the ad - 'welding required' - some unwelding is required first

That's funny you said that...........I was going to say the same thing....I was laughing when I saw that. I love when you see ads like that and...."needs a little TLC." At least he/she is being honest about the welding/unwelding part.

Missing more than the tonneau clips...but it is rust free

    No dog in this race...
I talked to seller. The car has been modified for a V8 with a lot of metal chopped up, and V8 engine mounts welded in. Part of the rear seats were removed, to fit the engine and trannie...although seller does have some replacement seat metal. Wonder where the sawzall went to find room for the radiator
Original hard window, but seller is quick to point out that it could have been ordered either way. No SWT parts.

This car is in my backyard.

In a trailer park . East San Diego has a notorious reputation for a little evil called TWEEK (Methamphetamine)

Heisenberg's minions might have started to convert this car to V8. I hate tweekers.
