    9112102045 - 1972 T Coupe

It was recommended to me to go this route, and it seemed very logical. I am trying to come up with a build date...or close to it. It's for a VIN decal that I don't currently have. The car was resprayed at some point and the rear door jamb decal was not part of it. The COA just says "Information Not Available" in that space. D'oh! Strike two.

Other cars that were built at that time are my best bet to get close, so TIA.

    Greg,

The contributors here should be able to get'ya pretty close....

From your VIN we know that 2931 total U.S '72T's were built between Aug/Sep. '71 through July/Aug '72. I would guess your #2045 was built roughly between half and 2/3's through the production run year.

Hopefully now those with with similar VIN's and known build dates will narrow the possibilities......

    Good luck

It's not really important. I just need the build date to get a VIN decal (now I'm kinda curious as well). Also not vital or anything, I just want a VIN decal because I don't have one as it was repainted in the past and not replaced.

Thanks guys! We're getting closer and closer. It feels like I'm watching a horse race and we're coming up to the finish line.

Thanks to everyone's info, like that PM from Sam, I've gotten down to 77 from the build. As his was built 05/72, and Jim's was 03/72, mine is looking more and more like 04/72.
