That was a deep pocket restoration and German restorers are not cheap. Congrat's on sticking to it and bringing the car back to "restored" original.
BTW, love the "gelbgrün" 71T color. My understanding is that lime green was not offered until 1972/73 and ended in 1977. What was the original color?

Yes you are right. This spectacular "lime green/chartreuse" (german "Lindgrün") shade (color code 226) was offered on the 2.4L 1972-1973 model and was only bought by brave customers. Probably only a dozen 911s and an additional 27 Carrera RSs were produced in this color.

It's the color of my dreams, so I purchased a 1971 911T 2.2L (matching numbers + air conditioning!) in gemini blue metallic and a complete restoration was done at my friend's workshop including a color change to 226 lime green.
I prepared this car as a day car. I want to drive about 4,000 miles a year.

    Thomas,
Spectacular, and you have a great eye for photography as you took that photo with all of the greens in the background contrasted with the Flieder in the background. IMHO nothing contrasts so perfectly with lime green as Lavender. Then you have the peptic Sport seats. Did you keep the 2,2T motor stock or did you have it upgraded?
    Congrats on such lovely cars.

    Thanks
Technically, I left the car in its original condition, without any modifications. Of course, everything is carefully restored. Every large part and small bolt are uncompromisingly refurbished or brand new.
We have built a new air conditioning using as many genuine parts as possible.
I installed sports seats with a pepita and I keep the original old seats in the warehouse.
Thanks to the color change and the seats, I have a lot of fun driving this car.
The spectacular lime color makes me happy and people who see it.
