    Is it a "S" from 1968?

Not sure in short wheel base but is it the "0" on the forth digit of the VIN from a "L"?
Become they claim this VIN comes from a "S"
    Thanks.

It looks like chassis number 11801181 falls into only one range listed in the early 911/912 spec booklet:

This indicates it really is a 911S, but you should probably get a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche to make sure.

And probably a late 68S. The total build was just over 1200 if I'm not mistaken.
