    Snorkel Mystery Number??? PLB

    Posting this for Phil (plb) on here. We talked over the phone last week about this hand painted number on Phil's airbox snorkel (69S) and he send me some pictures to post for him here. Anyone know what they might signify?

    Based on the style of '1' it doesn't look like German writing to me... but I've been wrong before!

    How does the 113 relate to the engine serial #, build # or the VIN? All of these are useful to me anyway.

    Somebody has shortened the main pump linkage rod from 114 +/- 0.2mm to 113mm, and wanted to make a note to the other mechanics that this had been done.
