    Fs: 1992 968

    I am selling my 1992 968; I will post up more information as I get it all scanned in. 55k; New tires as of last year, Timing belt will be replaced prior to new owner taking delivery (purely due to age-*Done 5-21-11*). I have had this car for about a year and in all honesty it would be great to keep but my '72E will receive the 968's garage spot and monthly allowance. I also have the car for sale locally and will put ads in the Pano over the next few weeks. I was looking to give the Early S crowd a head start.

    Delivered August 28,1992 in Peoria, IL

    Resold under Porsche Pre-owned Jan 31,1996

    Numerous records to scan in-including Porsche dealer history up to 2003;

    Just reached the break-in point for the new balance shaft belt. I will have it checked and re-tensioned shortly.

    Took it up to Road America this weekend to spectate; Drove great! Around 56k now...

    Well it is 2014 and I am going to focus on my 911 from here out. I had originally bought this car as a stop gap to keep driving a Porsche while my 911 was apart four years ago (the same mileage 964 was not in the budget back then). It has worked great and given many smiles but the time has truly come. The 968 crossed 60k last week; I have been completing many open/OCD maintenance items and occasionally driving the car to PCA events.
