FS: set of really hard to find outlaw 16" rims. 10 hole forged lightweight rare

These are incredibly hard to locate, ship, demount, beadblast, and horde. It has taken nearly 3 yrs to gather this set. These have factory paint and no bends or gouges. 2000. firm. 706.392.2580. Forged. Strong. Light. Sexy. Rod Emory made famous on 356s and look killer on early cars.

    You're kidding , right?

Clean off said prized wheels before photographing.

Difficult for a prospect to connect high value with outdoor storage and unwillingness to remove loose debris.

If they were 7R wheels you might have a shot at playing the "I-don't-really-give-a-rip-whether-they-sell-or-not-cuz-they're-just-going-to-keep-going-up" card but that's a high risk move with these wheels.

Best of of luck with the sale.
    Have a nice day.

I now know that my spare tire is something special.......I had no idea they would be that rare! I recently got a 911 via Manny Fri-zinger and it had them red rollers on the car. Little did Manfred know.....when he robbed the 9 and 11's off the car and installed any roller wheel he could find out back, that he was giving up the super rare wheels. I'm glad because I have no need for them and if scwhite59 sells them and anybody else needs a few I would consider selling them for just a little more than the ad above!

Good luck with your sell and Hey Mr. Frank, check your trunks ehh!....err ahhh you know what I mean!!

Rare and valuable are not the same. I have a 4-speed long hood. They're very rare. Are they more valuable than the 5-speed cars? I don't think so.

Anyone wanna buy my wheels? I guarentee them clean and the nicest ones around. Price is way fair but if u dont like my price, gumby aparently has a set he may sell. Eh, gumby?
Sorry about the dirt in pics. I actually had 5 pics that were taken after they were cleaned but all were blurry so with lack of available time it was clean and blurry or dirty and clear I opted for clear. At least u could see em.

as best I recall the 15" version were originally shipped w/ 944 turbos '86 - '88. the 16s came w/ 993TT & some 928s. I'm sure Jim has the details. one potentially limiting factor from a performance perspective is that they are 5 1/2" wide (?) once upon a time they were all the rage.
