FS: Reproduction 100 Liter Metal Fuel Tank

100 Liter Metal Fuel Tank FS

Reproduction of the 100 Liter Metal Fuel Tank (Fender Fill) used in 1964 – 73 Porsche 911 race/rally cars.

    - The tank uses a brand new bottom tank from Dansk to ensure proper fit. We then weld on a custom stamped top to replicate the spare tire hump of the factory 100 Liter Metal Fuel Tank. The fuel sender fitting and filler neck are transferred from the donor tank from Dansk to maintain the exact fit and finish as the factory tank.

    - Baffles are welded internally to minimize fuel slosh and starvation. This is beneficial for track and racing conditions or spirited runs on a back road.

    - The tank interior is permanently sealed with POR15 Tank Sealer to eliminate corrosion and protect the tank interior.

    - The tank is pressure tested for leak-free performance.

    - The tank exterior is finished in factory black paint.

The 100 Liter Metal Tank is carefully packaged and insured for shipping.

Price is $2800 USD, plus shipping costs.

We accept payment via PayPal.com. Contact us for check or wire transfer details.

This product is a racing part intended for off road use only.

We will build 15 fuel tanks in the first batch and are taking orders now.

Send me a PM or email for more photos and details.

I will have a table at the L.A. Lit. & Toy Show tomorrow morning with one of our new fuel tanks. Come by and see for yourself.

    Thanks,

Fantastic work Bert! I have always wanted one of these for my little hotrod. Now you have me thinking... How are your customers going to solve the fuel sender issue?

    Hi Scott,

It looks like Schiefer already posted the long sender information. I also have this information on my web site:

    www.mashmotorusa.com

The other option is to install the regular fuel sender and have a large reserve.

Our fuel tank would look great in your lightweight hot rod. Call me when you're ready.

    Thanks,
