    1971 911S racing again after many years of storage!

    Big thanks to the Brent Hunter at www.Huntermotorsports.ca for helping me get this car back out on track.
    It was a 11th hour job before the the PCA Mosport Can-Am Challange. Car was completed around 10pm the night before practice.

    The car did very well and held it's own in the PCA "red" race class. Which puts it on track with 997 GT3 Cups .997 Turbos etc.
    During the race we did suffer a minor mechanical issue that stopped our race. The car Started to leak oil do to the catch can having an odd restrictor in the hose??
    This caused pressure which lead to the oil cap leaking onto the manifold. Problem is fixed and I am ready for Mosport CASC Vintage race next week
    followed by VRG Watkins Glen classic a few week after that!! Here are some of the pics from Mosport.

    915 with a 3.2. But the 901 is great in my books as well.

    Here is a video of my first time driving the car. That weekend I managed a personal best in the race of 1:38.XX at Mosport
    I was pleased with that as I felt anything under 1:39.99 would have been a plus. I spoke to people who had raced this car in the past
    to get an idea of it's pace.

    Car is getting quicker ...well I am getting use to it. During the G70 races at Mosport this weekend managed a 1:37.3 before that pesky oil leak
    came back. Off to Watkins Glen for the OCT VRG races 10-12

    Nice job! Although you look a little lonesome amongst all those water pumpers on the starting grid at Mosport.

    ya Jim the PCA event was a little out of thecars typical run group. The Following race was part of CASC G70+ cars
    It was a great event with 14/20 cars being Porsches. On top of that 4 where long hoods.
