Jetting recommendations for 2.2 E spec engine w/ Webers?

Apologies if this has been answered, but I couldn't find anything in the archives. I'm rebuilding my leaky '70 2.2T engine (which has Weber 40IDA's, not Zeniths) and plan on a really mild upgrade - S p/c's and E cams. Being that this is a pretty common upgrade, I assume (er, hope!) there are plug-and-play jetting specs for the Webers. Any recommendations appreciated.

BTW - if anyone has alternative cam suggestions, I'm all ears. Just looking for a little more pep on the street, and not interested in going to the counterweighted E/S crank, stroking it out to 2.4, etc. Just building a modest, mostly stock street motor.

Check with PMO, he has almost all the jetting combo's needed for most spec engines. Cheers Steve

Your Webers probably have F26 emulsion tubes. If they have F3s then the jetting is a tad different than for F26s. I assume you have IDAs and not IDTPs which are a bit different again.

    2.2E with Webers & F26 emulsion tubes:
    • 32mm main venturis
    • 145 main jets
    • F26 emulsion tubes
    • 170 air correction jets
    • 55 idle jets

    2.2E with Webers & F3 emulsion tubes:
    • 32mm main venturis
    • 140 main jets
    • F3 emulsion tubes
    • 180 air correction jets
    • 55 idle jets

Either path should get you close.

Thank you Paul, much appreciated. These are IDA's but I don't know which emulsion tubes I have yet.
