    1969 only MFI adjustment tool

As the 1969 engine shroud didn't have a hole for direct access to the MFI pump does anyone have a picture
of the correct factory tool for adjustment, I think it might be P230b.

    Thanks

I had that tool but eventually threw it away, not the best design. It was a long T-handle with an 8mm socket on a spiral wound spring that was supposed to be able to operate at nearly right angles. There is a REASON they cut holes after that.

When I had a 69S engine in my 914-6, I would make the Idle adjustment, (no hole) by depressing the spring loaded hex with my finger and turning it with a wrench. I find Idle adjustments to be rare. Rack adjustments (midrange) are a lot more common and are made in the normal manner, above the fan housing, except you have to loosen the 14mm bolt on the side of the Injection pump to move the rack adjustment screw into the adjustment hole of the pump. Awkward to use, and the flexible ends eventually go bad.
Probably why Ed eventually threw his away.
