    FS: 1968 911 Normale

1968 911 Normale, 11830186 in an unusual color combo of 70192 Beige Grey over Red Leatherette. S Gauges, with matching engine and 5 speed trans. I have the COA and Kardex confirming this. Both pans are unrestored and original, as are the sound pad and the uncut door panels. California Black Plates. This car has never gone through a total restoration. Items only restored as needed. The odometer reads 42,000 and change, but I will assume that it is 142,000 and change. Although, the original aluminum case has never been split. I want a $100K for the car. New price is $92,500. SOLD

    Partial List:

    Drive train:
    Early matching 10/67 Aluminum Case
Complete upper end rebuild 2000 miles ago
2.2 E Mahle PCs with Dougherty DC-30 S Mod Cams
    Dansk Sport Muffler
    Transmission rebuilt
    New Axles
    100 liter Fuel Tank
    S/T Oil Fill

    Exterior:
Beige Grey Paint applied 3 years ago and is very close to perfect
    (windows out-have photos)
    Clear Bra
    Detailed Trunk area
Original “Bosch” Euro lenses front and rear
    Light weight plastic door handles
Your choice of wheels: Stock Steelies with caps, or widen Steelies to 7s and 6s, or restored 6x15 Fuchs

    Interior:
Fresh interior by Tony at Autobahn
Period correct Scheel 400 Rally Seats (Have original Seats)
    Beautiful crack free Dash
    Correct Z series Blaupunkt
    Original uncut Door Panels
    New Weatherstrips
    New Perlon Carpet
    S Gauges
    Working Clock

    Suspension:
    Calipers all rebuilt
    New Mastercylinder
    Non factory rear sway bar
    Bilstein Yellows

    Spares:
Original front and rear Seats (Red)
Original Rear Bumpers and Center License Plate Panel
    Original Door Handles with keys
    Original side Rocker Deco/Moldings
    Original Horn Grills
    Original Side Marker Lights
    Original Oil Filler and Cap
    Original Air Cleaner

    The Bad:
4 or 5 small stone chips (I drive it)
Small rust repair at left front hood hinge
4” or 5” gouge in the pan towards the center rear, as if the car ran over something by the PO
There are also some repaired holes in the pan from a previous roll bar installation
The oil level gauge bounces around and is inaccurate

This is a solid beautiful driving #2+ car. I make no excuses for my vision to build a matching numbers Hot Rod. This SWB is very quick and enjoyable. The car is located in the L.A. area of Southern California. Reason for the sale is I’m onto another car. Please don’t ask me to sell the spares separately. This is a package deal. Thank you.

Did you use the 2.0 liter heads on the 2.2 pistons/cylinders?

I actually used a later set of E 2.0 heads with the larger valves and had them machined for the 2.2 PCs.

This car is gorgeous - hopefully it stays in SoCal so I can still see it from time to time. GLWS

Very tastefully done. I'm generally not turned on by mod-ed porsches, but your car is extremely nice. GLWS.

This car caught my eye at the last Phoenix Club meet. It was a definite standout and I happen to have pictures to prove it.
