FS: New JE Pistons, 85mm, ceramic coated

    SOLD

Brand new JE 85mm pistons. Project changed directions and never got around to using them.

    $695 + Shipping + PayPal

For $100 extra, I will also throw in a set of Mahle 84mm cylinders that I believe can be bored to 85mm. One cylinder is pretty rusty, so is questionable.

Pins and keepers are included, of course.

All sharp edges on the pistons were relieved and polished, then the pistons were ceramic coated. I noticed some runs on the skirts, so smoothed the skirts with some Scotch-Brite pad to ensure smooth entry into the barrels. As a result, consider the crowns and ring lands coated, although much of the skirt area is still fully coated.

    9.0:1 CR on 66.0mm crank
    9.5:1 CR on 70.4mm crank

    Perfect for a:
    • 2.0 Normale, T or E
    • 2.2 T or E
    • 2.4 T, E or S

Which is the stock crank spec for a '72 2.4 T?
    Cheers!

That would be the 70.4mm, which results in a 9.5:1 CR.
