    Cibie hood lights - New Replica set

    I picked up a couple of new replica hood light sets for some friends.
    One of them did not want the set in the end, Don't need it myself.

    lenses

    Can you get the lense/reflectors separately ? Is there a name on them ?

    Yes, but who manufactures them ? Do you have to buy a whole system if you break a lense / reflector ?

    For the repro I do not if there is a mark or not.

    However if you brake a lens, you may find out there a sole old one only, without buying the all lot. Not easy to find though.
    This is one of the reason the covers were made, but still hard to find.

    Bref, c'est rare ( it is rare)

    Update: lost in translation : not the lens but you may replace the lens+deflector bloc which are hard to find any way.

    The lenses are sealed/glued to the mirror and very difficult to separate.
    I ruined my original one when I tried to do that.
    Might have single lens or a replica set of 2 units. Need to dig out a couple boxes.
    Will have a look monday evening.
