    VIN vs. Build Date

    Is there a way to reconcile a VIN number vs. the month/date of the build. VIN plate has been gone off of this particular 911 for years...

    It was recommended to me by a wise soul (Harvey Weidman) to try pulling out a gauge (such as the clock) and look for the date stamp.

    Keep in mind that the VIN sequence does not necessarily indicate the build order.

    we pretty much know every vin and corresponding build date - at least to month - maybe not day or hour

    I can use my database to try and help, but I certainly don't have a VIN by month breakdown.
