HELP: 2.4 MY73 original under shell photos

    CIAO!

I'm going to restore my 2.4s MY73 (production september 1972)

The car was originally Aubergine but the color was changed during it's life in green.

I need your help because I want to do a good job so I need a lot of pictures of original cars to look at all their details.

    I'm looking for photos of:
    under shell
    under wheel arch
    engine bay
    front bay

Please post the photos here so we can discuss about them or if you want send them to me at: andre.porsche@libero.it

Thanks a lot for your help!

Here are some I have found. Pretty much everything in '73 was sprayed with body color. Fuel tank was beige, black paint over the stamped vin by the smugglers box. Smugglers box lid was sprayed on either side, but not both. It depended on weather the lid was open or closed when it came down the line. If it was open, then some paint was sprayed in the smugglers box, if closed smugglers box was unpainted, just seam sealer and primer. The bottom of the outer rockers were given a light brushing of undercoat.

In this set, I believe the black undercoating on the front pan is incorrect.
