What would be the best crankcase to make a 901/30 spec engine ?

As per the title, but the 901/30 case (which I believe I could not afford $$) what would be the best crankcase to build a 901/30 spec engine ?

Porsche delivered this same spec engine for the 1967 MY in a special set of cars made for the Trans-Am series. The engine was the same spec as the 2000R motor described in the 1968 sports purpose manual (small valve, S components, IDS carbs, etc). The case used for at least one of the 1967 cars was a 901/06...and I believe that was the case used for all of the Trans-Am cars that year based on the general time they were available and what was in production at that time.

Any aluminum 2.0 case would seem to be a good starting point, but the 67 and 68 are probably the cheapest available now given the run up in wood dash cars.
