Another nice "replica" that I have seen this weekend, at the Nürburgring.
It was build by Kremer racing, with a lot of original parts.
The engine is from a RS 2.7 but was converted into a 3.0 and the body is one the very first G-type, and it retains the original color.

The owner also owns a manual 928 S4, with sport seats, sport suspension and locking differential, so definitely has good taste.

Keeping this thread going! I've pulled the Gulf stripes off mine and been experimenting with wheels and decals. Also changed the mirrors to an early flag on modified SC bases and changed the speedo and tacho to 74 RS style. Gradually tidying the old girl up from its tarmac rally past.

It looks better without the orange stripe, and with the proper tacho. Nice looking car

    Enjoy it!

I'm planning on working with Greg on tuning the MFI, and getting things working right on the car. Will spend this weekend with him working on it...he is 60 miles on the other side of Phoenix from me. His 3 and 6 yr old sons will be watching to keep the passion growing for a couple more generations. Halloween pic of the family.

well, hopefully Greg will continue to post on this thread; and you'll stick around as well for detail work, Gib?

I actually just popped in to tell everyone that I found out that Porsche still has the gold Carrera script available through the dealer network - not sure if it's outlined in black or not, though. I can get the part number if anyone needs it.
